Askpertpreneur is an individual who loves to share their own experiences with the community. You can share what you have used or experienced lately. It could be a product or service; or places you have visited in the past days. Your review contribution will help many people in their purchasing journey!


2. Who is Askpertist?

Askpertist is identified as another level of Askpertpreneur who already has a specialized set of skills in a specific category. For example, if you are an expert in the beauty field, then you can potentially be our Beauty Askpertist! Whether you are a traveler, food enthusiast, fashionista or any fields you deem your skills can give a hand to the community, Askpert warmly welcomes you to be an Askpertist!


3. How to become an Askpertist?

In order to be upgraded as Askpertist, you have to meet the requirements as following:

  • Reach 100,000 followers
  • Gain 100,000 likes
  • Gain 100,000 views

1. Can I change my email and mobile number?

There have two circumstances as following, if you:

  • Login with email, you are not able to change your email. Unless otherwise your registered email is no longer used in future, please contact us for further action.
  • Login in with mobile number, you are not able to change your mobile number. Unless otherwise your registered mobile number is no longer used in future, please contact us for further action.

Other than the foreseen scenario above, we encourage you not to change your email or mobile number as it might affect us from reaching you or responding to you whenever it is necessary.


2. Why should I verify my account?

Account verification is important because you will be verified by ASKPERT to prove that you are the original owner of the account in which it will be easier to differentiate you from other accounts to prevent impersonation. 


3. How to differentiate between an unverified account and a verified account?

Well, you can easily spot a badge pinned beside username on your/others profile. Askpertreneurs who have verified themselves, their badge will change from unverified to verified.

5. Is uploading my NRIC’s image compulsory?

Yes, it is compulsory to upload your NRIC’s image in order to proceed with the verification process. We know what you are concerning but don’t worry! You may put a remark on your NRIC’s image “For ASKPERT Use Only”, on both front and back. Driving license and passport are acceptable as well. Sample as following:

6. Why did my identity verification get rejected?

There are some reasons we might reject your identity verification request as following (but not limited to):

  • Unclear NRIC’s image of both sides/either side
  • Details written in the column is incompatible with your NRIC’s image
  • Submitted NRIC’s images are invalid (e.g. irrelevant photos)

7. What are Insights?

Insights in ASKPERT are a simple analytic tool that enables you to trace your data, including total likes, total views and total followers you have gained in the last 7 days or 30 days. You can even trace back your past records by selecting a specific date.


8. What is Questionnaire?

Questionnaire is a set of questions where we would release to Askpertpreneurs to answer accordingly so that we can have better understanding on what does actually the market need and want. By answering the questionnaire, you can earn extra coins while we can know more about you, a win-win situation.

There is a feature where you can contribute merchant info if you find no relevant merchant for your review.


3. How to add a new merchant?

You can find two ways to add a new merchant; 1. Add directly from your review; 2. Go to “Me” and you will see “Merchant Info Contribution.”

If you could not find the address of the merchant store, you may select the nearby stores. We will make adjustments towards its location accuracy.


4. Are there any restrictions on writing a review?

You are not allowed to include any topics which are related to politics, gambling, drugs, sex, race, religion, or act cyberbullying towards other parties. Please be polite and have no vulgar words in your review.

5. How to write a good review?

Here are some guidelines to write a good review:

We encourage you to:

  • Include clear images of the actual product/service you have experienced where other consumers can have a clearer visual representation from different angles.
  • Write a truthful review and detailed feedback based on your experience with the product/service.
  • Use respectful language.

We are not encourage you to:

  • Use language or media that is offensive
  • Use language or media that are irrelevant to the product/service
  • Upload blank/blacked out of images that are irrelevant to the product/service
  • Write unreasonable reviews; E.g. You visited a self-service fast food restaurant and yet you complained about them for not serving the food to your table.

Note: Any reviews that do not adhere to review guidelines will be removed by Askpert and any coins given will be withdrawn from Askpertpreneur’s pocket. For more details, please read our Content Policy.

Gift Redemption

1. How to redeem a gift?

It is very simple to redeem a gift, please refer to the following steps:

2. How do I receive the gift? 

There will be 2 methods to receive the gift:

Method 1: Self pickup

You may head to our office to collect your gift. We are located at VITA Media Sdn Bhd, VO5-06-10, Signature 1, Lingkaran SV, Sunway Velocity 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Please reach us out through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger and make an appointment before you come over for collection. We have to follow SOP 🙂 #kitajagakita


Method 2: Courier service

Please ensure that you have provided correct details for shipping the gift. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info.


3. How long can I receive the gift if I choose courier service?

We will ship within 21 working days. It may vary due to uncertain circumstances such as Movement Control Order (MCO). We will try our best to make better adjustments on this matter. We would highly appreciate your kind understanding.


4. Why does my gift redemption get rejected?

There are few reasons for being rejected (but not limited to):

  • Gift is on while stocks last basis
  • You do not meet the requirements to redeem such gift

5. Can I get a coin refund?

You will get a coin refund if (but not limited to):

  • The gift is out of stock
  • You do not meet the requirements to redeem such gift

6. How to earn coins?

You can earn coins by following methods:

  • Complete profile details (one-time earning)
  • Verify your identity (one-time earning)
  • Total views you gained from your reviews –  2 Views = 1 coin
